I am always eager for us to go deeper into the Bible and its message of salvation through Jesus Christ. To this end I want to invite you try out a course which I hope to run regularly next year. It is called Life Explored and it is designed to get people thinking about Christianity over six one-hour sessions. Each session consists of a short film, discussion, Bible reading, and video talk and further discussion, all over tea and coffee.
It is intended for those investigating Christianity as well as for established Christians who might find get a fresh perspective on Jesus through the innovative way the course presents the teaching. I would love you to come, not only as a way of deepening your own knowledge and love of God, but also to help me evaluate the course as to whether it is something we should run regularly next year.
As well as this, I am looking for volunteers to provide a simple afternoon tea for course participants.
It will run in the Parish Room on Sundays at 4.00 pm from 20th October through to 24 November. It’s a busy time, but then again… things are always busy!
To join the course, please sign up in the porch or contact the office. If you can help with afternoon tea, please let me or the office know.
