Sunday 16th April

Last week it was wonderful to celebrate at Easter that Jesus is alive with so many of you and with so many visitors to our three Easter Sunday services. If you are one of those visitors and you’ve decided to come again, then welcome! It is wonderful to have you here with us whether it is your
first time or whether you’ve been with us many times before.

Though the Easter weekend has now passed, over the next couple of weeks, we’re going to be looking together at some passages from the Gospels that show how people reacted to the resurrected Christ. They still had a decision to make, whether to believe him or not. This same decision is one that each of us makes today, and I hope and pray that as each of us engages with these accounts from the Bible, we will be strengthened in our faith and hope.

Here are a few things to keep you up to date with the life of our community:

  • Our Kids and Youth ministries are taking a break over the school holidays and will start up again in term 2.
  • Our next big community event is the Fireworks, on Saturday 3rd June at 5 pm. BBQ, bonfire and a fantastic fireworks display in the open space of our graveyard. Be sure to save the date.
  • We run regular gospel courses, to provide the opportunity to learn the gospel afresh in a relaxed discussion format. Use the connect card (hardcopy or online) to let us know if you are interested.

Blessings in Christ,
Andrew Goddard (Assistant Minister)
