2nd October 2022

This week our Student Minister Ed will be sharing with us from 1 Corinthians 14:1-12, a passage that’s all about us as a church doing what ‘edifies’ one another. When you look at our church building, it’s an impressively strong edifice. Many people worked hard to build it, and have continued to ‘edify’ and maintain it over the decades. This has been to God’s glory, and how encouraging it is to know that God also helps us to edify one another as ‘the church’, a community centred on his Son.

Children’s and youth programs are on a holiday break, returning 16th October. All children and youth are very welcome to join in the main gathering in the church.

After the school holidays, we will enter a busy time, with our classical concert on Saturday 15th October. Leading up to Christmas, we have two more community events, in the Hymn Fest and Music on the Lawn Saturday 12th November, and outdoor Carols and Christmas Market on Sunday 11th December!! We are hoping to hold some stalls at both these events. If you can help, please note this on the comment card, or contact Philippa Skuja (for Hymn Fest) or Diana Whitton (for Carols and Christmas Market).

Yours,
Andrew Goddard, Assistant Minister
