FAMILY SERVICE

 

First SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 11.00am-11.30 

 

 

Children respond well to worship.

Many actually enjoy the atmosphere of music and stillness, of stained glass and candles without needing to understand it all. 

They have a great capacity for wonder. 

 

Children are a vital part of what Jesus called the ‘kingdom of God’. 

They bring something of the simple, joyous and uninhibited nature of that kingdom

into church with them. 

 

Whilst there is some structure—which is in keeping with the traditional

Anglican service—it is child-friendly—with a time of singing and instruments,

readings and Bible talk.  Come as a family and enjoy community at St Jude’s.

The Family Service is a part of the preparation for Childrens’ Baptism.
